confortable to visit Muscat

Driving from one point to another in Muscat could takas you 1 hour (or hourS in case of traffic). I choise this due to closeness to suq (great mosquee is on the other side of town). Distance takes you 5 minutes by car, and it is easy to find free parking. Nothing notable is close to the hotel but, even there, there are free parking. Room for 3 people is big enough, wi-fi works and breakfast is full of choise (the same for the dinner).

It was been a pity dind’t have a bath in swimming pool. I think was out of order, despite, every day, they had said to us that “tomorrow you can use it”

The room was very specious; there is a free parking available in the hotel. The location is not bad (especially if you have a car)

The hotel and the furniture in the room are old and the bathroom was looking pretty bad. The check-in time and check-out time was very slow

I have stayed there couple of times but this time I did not really enjoy my stay

The customer service was not good, i had called the hotel before check-in that I will be checking in late that is the next day and the lady at the reception said that she will reduce the price at the time of check in but when I reached the property I was told we cannot reduce the price . LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE

What was the highlight of Haffa House Hotel

Very Good

The staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well presented. The pool was quiet and clean with fluffy towels provided for guests. There was a gym and a spa (although we didn't use these). The reception gave us a list of attractions with opening times, which was very helpful. The bed was so comfortable and the room was quiet. The air-conditioning worked well and the room had all the facilities we needed. The cafe had a free pool table and was relaxing to sit in. A friend came to join is and was able to have food in the restaurant with no problem and paid a fair price on leaving (we had all food included). The restaurant staff were helpful when helping me to select appropriate food (dairy intolerant) and also offered to make me other meals if there was little option in the buffet.

The shower could have been hotter. The hotel could have been more aware of food allergies and had more options available. One lift was out of order for our whole stay and a second one was out of order for the last few days leaving only one for the whole hotel. Luckily the hotel wasn't busy so it didn't cause an issue.

Great place , good location, attentive staff

This place has been my preferred place of stay since 2009 . The staff always has a personal touch especially Mr. Rajesh in the front office . Breakfast has improved by leaps and bounds though I would prefer more dishes for dinner and lunch in the menu .

The room was clean and tidy.

The hotel was built in 1998 and has not been renovated since. Interior is old and worn out. The AC smelled and could not be properly regulated. Given the humid weather, there was a damp feel and smell to the room. While the night staff was very friendly, the day staff was not helpful at all and did not seem to care.

Overall it was a comfortable stay.

The hallway lights are motion triggered so it was kind of offputting waiting for the lights to turn on a tad late as you look for your room number

I had booked the Executive Suite without kitchen and the room was very spacious. Myself, my wife, children of 6 years & 15 years old respectively had been staying in this hotel for 2 nights. The Bed was comfortable and it was so huge that I did not order for an extra bed and was not charged for an extra bed which was nice. The Swimming Pool is good. The Hotel lobby and the rooms were very clean. It has been maintained very well. The Hotel Staff were also nice. This hotel is worth for the money you pay.

It could have better with some more recreation facilities such as Shuttle Cock Courts, T.T. , Squash & Tennis etc. Could have been better if the hotel was a bit more modern with modern facilities.

The place is ok....but the food is not upto the mark..The morning breakfast is pretty normal..in fact the butter which i opened was stinking rotten...

THE HOTEL IS VERY CLEAN AND NICE TO STAY THE AREA IS QUITE AND CLOSE TO MUTTRAH MARKET AND SQ SEA PORT ROOMS ARE COSY AND COMFORTABLE TO STAY

Very Bad lighting inside the rooms. It was like a dark room sanitary fittings were extremely bad ordered room service for pasta and they delivered noodles which were tasteless Too expensive for what they offered Bad quality furniture, all outdated and badly maintained Electronics in bad shape i.e. TV, Iron, remotes, etc. Will never recommend this to anyone and have asked my hosts never to suggest this place either
